The next day was the day I started running, I mean, as a sport. I still did some stupid things for the next years and even recently but it was the beginning of my journey to mental health and peace of mind. Today I am at peace with myself. Just focus on the things you love. If you think you have nothing, remember what makes you laugh, what you used to enjoy, what would you like doing again. Or maybe just try finding new things. But actually try.
I went back to RSS and my niche community is on instagram/threads. Not the same as it was on Reddit, of course, but I'm having what I want in terms of news and content at least. Right now Lemmy has nothing for me, that's the truth.
It makes you think about sucking your own dick.
How was it? "Reddit is like 4Chan but with a condom" or something like that they used to say.
Honestly, I think they look kinda bad. I LOVE Santolouco art in the comic but I don't like these for some reason. Maybe NECA version could look much better.
I see a lot of praise for these... what do you think?
They are the Loyal Subjects exclusive SDCC set of the IDW turtles.
Sentinel! I have not seen reviews on the KO but the Miles looks kinda bad (I have only seen some pics). I saw that HLJ was selling them again, they are totally worth the money imo but yeah, very expensive.
Have you tried the "haunted ps1 demo discs"? Horror seems to be the genre that always tries something unique in gaming. Things like Iron Lung always amaze me.

Zuck, Musk and all those companies are shit but I'm already engaging a lot with Threads. I love the idea of the Fediverse but the hard truth is that there's no instance of my hobbies in here (and no, I won't create them). On Thread, boom! Every person I follow on IG is there, talking about what I like, sharing stuff.
I really liked Richard Brody's take on the film https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-front-row/in-wes-andersons-asteroid-city-the-artist-is-present
I think you have see a little bit more of Anderson to grasp some of the common themes with him. Overall, is not that complicated: just a story within a story, going meta on a very Wes Anderson way.
Closed captioning has only risen in popularity in the past few years. What caused that?
Thanks! Sorting by top day seems the best option for now.
How do I stop seeing post from 2 or 3 days ago?
I'm using Jerboa, I don't know if it is an app thing or a lack of content thing, but when sorting things by "hot" I only see old posts, should I only see things by new?
As someone that LOVES Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2, this looks amazing. I'm totally gonna buy it.
People with hobbies, what kind of specific community would you like to see here on Lemmy?
Any action figure lovers around here?
A little bit. What I hate is losing the communities related to my hobbies. Reddit is/was very very helpful for me. Finding new music, finding new games, discussing movies and TV, learning about weird movies or cult shows, sharing my stuff to people that find it cool... It was 11 years of that. I needed that site, so many very helpful posts. I hope whatever comes next is better. For now I'm here, waiting to see what happens.

Any action figure lovers over here?
I think I will understand only what Jerboa makes easy to understand. I mean: there's a search function so I lool for things there. There's a gaming community, so I suscribe. The frontpage or whatever show me posts from servers (?) I'm not subscribed to, so I will lurk there (like in this instance).
I don't know if I there's another way to find communities or "sublemmies" or whatever. Basically I see, I comment, I post, and I hope to find things related to my hobbies.
Using Jerboa, I have no idea how to find communities from other servers (?). I just look for things in the search tab: "oh look, a gaming thing".
