Some YouTube Premium subscribers complain of seeing ads
  • Or sometimes it doesn't let me play YouTube in a minimized floating way. Seems to be if I've been going back and forth between horizontal and vertical vids. Both normally allow floating minimized play but something about how they interact often leads me to having to force close the app, which loses me the custom queue I've been constructing. If the official solution is buggy...

Why I will not be starting weight lifting until I'm on a stable dose

    Trigger Warning: shameless GI TMI

Whenever I can muster the confidence to re-enter the dating scene I end up working out to get in good shape. I have various psych issues I'm working on so I rarely leave the house these days, but I had to get blood drawn for med/marker levels. While I was in my second week of semaglutide treatment I experienced a distressing "thought I was passing air" scenario in public.

I'd been so psyched that Wegovy was covered by my insurance and that new normal of confidence almost resulted in me returning to the gym. However since I can't stand cardio yet love strenuous weight lifting, I realized I couldn't do that with a GI system with so many variables right now.

When did y'all adapt to these types of gastrointestinal changes?

    I'm up to .20ml finally
  • I'm just entering my third week and the main side effects I'm noticing seem to be all associated with the "delayed gastric emptying". It used to be that I could eat an enormous meal and I would stop being full relatively quickly. Now I feel full all the time even if I haven't eaten for a full day which blows my mind. For me I believe my gut flora are converting to a lot more fermentation which has led to a lot of cramps (and heavy winds). My doctor told me to stay extra hydrated and that when I do get hungry not to overdo it since the food will be sticking around much longer now. Feels like a brick is lodged in my GI tract constantly, so I just want to minimize the size of that brick. So in a way constipation is a feature not a bug. I think I'll try the electrolytes (Mg), but I'm scared to use a bulk-forming fiber supplement for fear it'd just grow the brick. If the electrolytes don't help maybe I'll ask my doc about a stool softener.

Good luck! Hope we both find success reducing our risks for cardiovascular diseases.
