Bad Bunny shows support for Kamala Harris – and could help sway Puerto Rican voters in Pennsylvania’s industrial cities
  • Literally just thinking if they need more swaying after that rally, then I really just don’t know what else to say.

  • Stress kills. Losing everything, that will add a significant amount of stress I’m sure. Not surprising to be honest, interesting that I’ve never seen it brought up when discussing deaths as a result of natural disasters.

  • Honestly campaign matching funds from tax payer dollars to the tune of $8 to $1 just sounds like a bad idea. Am I missing something ? *Why in the fuck would we want to get big money in local politics?

Re read it, it’s designed to get big money OUT of local politics. Still don’t understand how this is best solution to that though.

  • My first meme, hello world
  • I Learned recently that the “.” After “S” in Harry S Truman is actually unnecessary because his middle name is quite literally “S”. Although trying to find a source to back this claim, seems most sources include, which is confounding. This link discusses it though. https://www.history.com/topics/us-presidents/harry-truman

  • Can we have a discussion about the rhetoric in this community?
  • Agree with the body shaming, plenty of shit drivers across the spectrum. Don’t care so much about cars being fun as a means to justify their prevalence. But to acknowledge the counter argument of the culture we seek to criticize does have its merits in effective debate.

  • How Deep is the Scandal at Maryland’s Medical Examiner Office?

  • US dog breeder fined $35m after 4,000 beagles rescued
  • Mixed thoughts on the outcome of this lawsuit. "Envigo's parent company, Inotiv, has agreed to pay the record eight-figure settlement. It has also agreed to not breed dogs for the next five years." Like, how about a permanent ban? Five years, are you kidding me? Better than nothing, but cummon.

I'm glad that a portion of the money fined will go towards the activists actually rehabilitating/rehoming these beagles. "The agreement calls for the company to pay $22m to the US government, as well as pay approximately $1.1m to the Virginia Animal Fighting Task Force and approximately $1.9m to the Humane Society of the United States for their help rescuing the beagles."
