YSK: If you make popcorn in a pot on the stove, the oil to use is ghee.

  • Also, as far as i know, you can buy the same seasoning they put on the popcorn at the theaters. Its called flavacol.

    Also, beware of bagged popcorn a lot of the bags contain PFAS, which is supposedly bad for you.

    What is your recommendation for a starter hammock camping set up?

  • I basically use this guys setup myself. The thing that made it comfortable for me was also using a sleeping pad inside of the hammock. It might sound odd but it helps keep it from bunching up around you and spreads your weight out a bit more. You can also try sleeping slightly diagonally, this also helps spread the weight and make it more comfortable.

  • My main concern is if they will keep up the support, I don't want to go buy something that looses driver support in a year or two. I feel like I have seen too much of that from various companies, though i can't think of too many examples from intel other than Optane.
