T-Mobile Will Shield You from Internet Outages for $30 a Month
  • So I have T-Mobile in a major city. Whenever my ISP goes down, my normally fast 5G slows to a crawl due to the increased load. So it seems like when you need this the most is when youd get the worst performance.

  • Why Ukraine Should Keep Striking Russian Oil Refineries
  • It's a bit more complex than that. Just because the US is a net exporter doesn't mean that it doesn't still need to import. There are several types of oil and currently the US still needs foreign imports of certain types that we rely on but don't produce enough of.

That being said, I still think it makes sense to destroy infrastructure supporting the Russian invasion.

  • I feel like adding a carbon tax to meat could be more effective than us just telling people to eat differently.

At this point, those that aren't already switched to plant based diets need a carrot or stick.

That being said, adding a meat tax would be insanely hard to pass in the US

  • Why is WhatsApp so ubiquitous everywhere BUT North America?
  • I'm replying to the first part of your comment. But I don't live outside the US so I don't know why people would use what's app. I mostly use messenger myself since I don't have an iPhone(but I used to growing up). Sorry for commenting

We're asking the opposite question outside the states. Why is text messaging so popular in the states, to the point a blue / green checkmark is cause for teenage bullying?

It is time to take the “Ultra” out of our pursuit of high-speed rail and get back on track with the original Long Range Plan for the Amtrak Cascades.

Thought this was an interesting take, does anyone know more about this?
