(COMPLETE) [Steam] Disco Elysium: The Final Cut
  • Been playing BG3, Dota2, and Stardew Valley. I like to play my games slowly so I haven't finished BG3 yet. Disco elysium has been on my wishlist for a while, regardless of winning or not, thanks flr the giveaway!

  • German football coach condemns 'racist' TV survey that asked participants if they wanted to see more white players on the national football team
  • The problem here is that it's a yes or no question. It's not "how do we solve problem x" but "should we just deal with x by doing y?" - which is a call for action in that exact line of thinking.

This survey is not objective, it's subjective, with racism as part of the subjectivity.

  • The only way to atone for our past is to stand up against israeli apartheid, occupation and genocide, says Macklemore in Germany | #FreePalestine
  • I'd like to interpret it this way: we must learn and "atone" as the whole mankind for the mistakes that our ancestors did, by trying not to repeat it and strive to stop what is happening right now. For most of us humans right now, our opinions don't matter much to the decision of Israel to continue the genocide, but at the very least we shouldn't stop acknowledging that this is a genocide.

  • Sorry to see you downvoted, but hear me out. If I create a survey, for example, asking: "do we need to carry out a ethnic cleaning on a certain ethnicity of this country?" It implies that:

    1. The survey creator and people who approve of it think that there is a substantial chunk of people who will say yes.

    2. That the idea is a valid one and if you don't agree with it, it is valid for others to think that it is reasonable.

The idea of killing/kicking-out of people based on their race, is a part of what defines racism. The survey which validates such an idea, is racist.

  • It’s not just boomers, young people are voting far right too
  • Yes true, my perception is biased to a local housing problem where younger people can't afford apartments while old rich people own so many.

Regardless, it's still sad that immigrants are being blamed. Even urbanisation means that they're citizens of that country, and they caused the problem themselves.

  • Man with suspended license astonishes judge by joining court Zoom call while driving
  • He's an idiot, true, and shouldn't drive at least until a fair assessment says otherwise. I was saying that there should be a better, less costly, and safe transportation for people who can't or don't want to drive to get around.

  • Man with suspended license astonishes judge by joining court Zoom call while driving
  • As funny as it is, I also feel bad for the guy. This illustrates perfectly why we need a good public transport, to prevent people who don't have what it takes to drive off the road, while not preventing them from visiting their doctors.

  • It’s not just boomers, young people are voting far right too
  • They asked you if you're not racist, as if it's normal to be racist??

It's sad to see how people get manipulated to the point that they can't understand that even a natural population growth without immigration can cause a housing crisis, if we don't build and maintain the houses. And immigrants come to work anyway, which provides a disproportionately high value to the economy compared to what most of them are paid.
