It is indeed fairly easy. To get started you just need a scoby from someone or you could buy it online through Amazon or a local marketplace (there is a local community on Facebook in my country that allows users to share scobys).
With respect to recipes, there are many to be found online. Maybe this helps a bit? This is how I do it myself.
- Make strong black tea, dissolve 70g cane sugar per liter. I think some people use less sugar maybe.
- when cool, add to scoby from previous batch in large container with access to air through a cloth (prevents insects etc from getting in)
- ferment for 1-2 weeks depending on temperature and desired tartness. This is F1
- make syrup with fruits, sugar, water and strain or take some fruit juice
- add to bottle that can withstand pressure (flip top bottles from Grolsch work well). Fill up with F1 kombucha. I think I use more or less 1:6 ratio of syrup:kombucha. Make sure to fill the bottle almost completely.
- Ferment for another few days (~ 4 days) in closed container to build carbonation. This is F2
- refrigerate and enjoy

Ah Ja, interessant artikel over gelezen in het nrc een tijd geleden. Ik moest er ook aan denken door die .tk domeinnamen.
Het product (ereader) was net wat te goedkoop voor een vrij nieuw model, het zou gaan om "zakelijk aangeschaft maar niks voor mij" terwijl de seal er nog om zat, en het bedrag moest overgemaakt worden op een bedrijfsmatig Rabo IBAN nummer met spaties tussen de getallen, op naam van Global Fashion by R&R B.V. De verkoper stond op marktplaats ingeschreven in Friesland terwijl dit bedrijf in Amsterdam zat en nu permanent gesloten is, en een ander bedrijf met dezelfde naam in Zeeland zit. De reviews op marktplaats waren wel grotendeels positief, waardoor ik in eerste instantie toch even twijfelde.

I have two feature requests that were part of my regular way of using Apollo before:

in Memmy, we can already swipe from the left edge of the screen to right to go back to the feed while reading comments. Sometimes I want to go back to reading the comments after having gone back to the feed. This used to be possible in Apollo by swiping from the right edge of the screen to left, but in Memmy this will trigger a reply/comment to the post that happens to be there.

Apollo had a button in the bottom right corner of the screen that allowed you to jump to the next top level comment in the thread. This was especially handy in very reply rich posts.

Now I’m curious which scene you’re talking about. The storyline in my opinion was a bit shallow and at times cringy, but not sickening.

Yes I did! I'm going for simple syrups for the F2 these days, less fruit pieces and mini pellicles floating around at the end
Ik loop ook tegen hetzelfde aan; dat is wel het nadeel van deel zijn van een kleinere instance. Veel andere communities zijn nog niet gezocht / gevonden vanuit feddit.nl. Zo kon ik bijvoorbeeld [email protected] niet gelijk vinden vanuit feddit.nl, maar wel direct vanuit lemmy.ml. Uiteindelijk is mijn go-to aanpak nu om naar https://lemmyverse.net/communities te gaan en daar als home-instance feddit.nl in te vullen (rechtsboven). Als ik daar vervolgens een interessante community vind, kan ik via het linkje direct naar feddit.nl/c/communitynaam@instancenaam gaan.

Goed punt, voor mij ook een extra reden om mijn account op feddit.nl aan te houden en die op lemmy.ml toch maar links te laten liggen. Zie ook de discussie over "Expressing concerns about moderation policy on lemmy.ml"; goede kans dat andere instances lemmy.ml op een gegeven moment ook gaan defedereren. Je punt over een kleine Nederlandse instance geeft inderdaad meer zekerheid dat content beschikbaar is en blijft.
