es gab mal eine Zeit in den späten 90ern und frühen 2000ern, wo ziemlich viele Bundesligavereine Probleme mit rechten Hooligans hatten, davon ist Hertha auch nicht ganz verschont geblieben

im Allgemeinen ist Hertha aber ein klassischer Arbeiterverein aus einem traditionell sehr linken Stadtteil ("Der Wedding ist rot") und hat seine Anhängerschaft zu großen Teilen in urbanen Stadtteilen mit hohen Bevölkerungsanteilen mit Migrationshintergrund (Neukölln, Gesundbrunnen, Spandau, Charlottenburg, Moabit, Tempelhof etc.), was man, wie ich finde, auch im Stadion sieht - das verträgt sich einfach nicht mit der politischen Rechten

natürlich gibt es auch viele kleinbürgerliche Boomer unter den Fans mit ihren dementsprechenden Meinungen, aber statistisch betrachtet sich etwa ein Drittel der Fans als links, was unter Bundesligavereinen wohl eher hoch ist und auch das merkt man von der Stimmung her und zB den Fan-Aktionen und Banners

also vielleicht nicht ganz so explizit links wie St. Pauli, aber auf keinen Fall rechts zu verorten heutzutage, würde ich sagen
