Suggestion to make comments more compact
  • Absolutely, needs slightly more refinement. I keep switching between apps and I feel like this impacts the reading experience.

That being said…the app is only a month old. I am sure this will be changed over time.

  • Is there a chance we can get an Apollo style full screen swipe?

„In Apollo, there was a really intuitive feature that let you disable the gestures for voting/replying/etc. If you did so, then you could use the entire screen to navigate between posts instead of needing to swipe all the way from the side.“

I took this screenshot and quote from a request from another app (thanks @Carnelian). I think this app is also missing this and I think it is one of the highest quality of life features.

(I hope posting it like this is okay)

    Disable Left/Right swipes?
  • This is my most requested feature as well.

It’s also not only intuitive with an injury, but it makes more sense than going with the right thumb all to the left on a bigger display to swipe back or use the bottom bar as some have suggested.

  • Any plans to add the swipe the bottom to go back feature from Apollo?
  • Please also consider full screen swipe, it’s generally more accessible on bigger phones. Swiping the bottom row requires thumb gymnastics as well. It’s easy to test.

Normally the thumb rests towards the middle of the screen.

  • Memmy is hitting all the notes Apollo used to hit
  • Yes, excellent app so far. I would gladly pay for it.

My only wishes so far are the option to swipe to a subscription list (instead of clicking the star) and a full screen swipe. Apollo offered this by disabling upvote and downvote button swipes…it’s so much easier to do on bigger phones and a great “comfortable” feature for an app to feel convenient and intuitive to use.
