I wouldn't have been able to play day one because of family plans but after watching a few of the teams on twitch who were struggling, I knew I didn't want to try at all. I'm not much of a raider anyway, but this one definitely doesn't seem like it's for me.
So anyway, here's Wonderwall.
I've noticed a lot of users on here actually really like the lack of recommendations. My use hasn't gone down but I do miss having videos on the YouTube main page, particularly on my PC.
I mean it's on a laptop that's plugged into my stereo and streams Spotify and my music collection. On my main system I don't use snaps but for that particular one I wanted kubuntu and Spotify and that was basically it. But I guess you are right about them wearing me down.
I use snaps for Spotify and Firefox. I know that it's "forcing" something on users in an ecosystem where things should never be forced on you but as long as they work, I just don't want to fight them anymore.
I never knew that existed. That's awesome.
He's referring to Mint gum. He choked on it.
Jennifer Government by Maxx Barry. In fairness I read it 20 years ago and do not know how it's aged. It was good back then though.
It will sound better than streaming directly from your phone but it's not worth it to most people. The cable conversation is a whole other subject. There are still audiophiles that claim that cables costing upwards of $1000 are worth it and sound better. It blows my mind.
I run Windows on the main family computer for simplicity and Linux on my personal (slightly older) laptop. I'm trying to teach my kids about it in hopes that they will have the same level of curiosity that I did back in the early 2000s. Plus I'd love to not run Windows at all.
I will switch from Sync to Infinity once it's available on F-Droid or the Play store. I don't stay on top of things enough to use apps that I have to update myself.
"Every cookie is a sugar cookie. A cookie without sugar is just a cracker" - Gary Gulman (paraphrased)
I cannot wait for season 2. I don't often binge whole seasons of shows in one sitting but I did with The Bear. I could not stop watching.
This is one of the funniest movies out there and most people in my life totally missed out on it.
Bring back Netscape! Actually I would take the old Opera. That was my browser of choice prior to the chrome integration.
I played Warlock for season 18 and 19 after being a Hunter main prior to that. I ran mostly Hunter and Titan last season but now I'm right back to Warlock. Arc Warlock feels really amazing right now. They nerfed Starfire protocol so I don't feel obligated to run solar anymore when I'm in a fireteam either. Strand, arc and stasis are all incredible. Void is also reliable as well.
If Reddit hadn't decided to make it impossible for third party apps to use the API then we'd all still be there. I honestly really miss it. I just cannot support a company that doesn't value people who have supported it (users, mods and developers).
I like the small instance I belong to. It's represented by one or two of those buildings in that picture and that's okay.
