Your value is not determined by your productivity.
  • @MossBear sorry this is the conversation I have with my son and I was inconsiderate to reply without being aware of the context

  • @MossBear i accept that your physical pain is real and difficult to cope with, but please don't make it worse through emotional distress and mental pain

  • What helps you decide on picking up a book from an unknown author?
  • @altz3r0 mostly reviews and references in social media

  • [@fediverse](https://lemmy.ml/c/fediverse) would you be recommending accounts from Lemmy and Kbin to Mastodon so that we can follow and interact with them?
  • @petrescatraian i don't know whether I am doing this right or whether i could do better.

I have subscribed to the federated feed of Lemmy.ml- https://lemmy.ml/feeds/all.xml so i get posts from Beehaw in my rss reader. I also follow some communities like literature, writing etc. Whenever i can, i like comments from Lemmy/ kbin that come into my Mastodon timeline to help them get upvoted in their instances.

Given the reach of fediverse, numbers don't matter if interactions are high among us.

Do your part, try not to lurk!
  • @bitsplease you are not tiny. Since the whole fediverse can interact with each other, we are nearly ten million together!

  • What are you reading? (June 2023)
  • @lynn_literary @Kamirose wow thank you!

  • What are you reading? (June 2023)
  • @Kamirose when i checked i was asked to login. But even this is fine, it makes us more numerous than otherwise, thank you.

  • What are you reading? (June 2023)
  • @lynn_literary @Kamirose and i am from Mastodon: about to start reading, "Don't Save Anything" by James Salter (would this comment be posted to both kbin and lemmy, as well as Mastodon in my home instance? That would be like magic)
