Any fans of Acustica plugins here?
I just recently picked up a couple of them, but their product range is a little confusing to me. Curious if anyone is using and digging any of their plugins? Or any alternatives that you like?

What’s your go-to vocal microphone?
Curious what everyone is using on vocals? I’ve got a 47 clone that I love, but it’s also hard to beat an SM7 sometimes. It’s a classic for a reason!
Who’s your favorite mixer right now?
Who inspires you the most as a mixer these days and why? I really look up to Serban Ghenea. His mixes are always so consistently great, balanced, loud, without being harsh. And it seems like he’s all ITB using standard tools that everyone has access too, he’s just got the skills and ear to make them great.
I didn’t know their version would use ActivityPub, that’s very interesting.
Would a “community notes” feature like Twitter be useful or even work in this context?
Hotez did not agree to debate RFK Jr, he asked to come on Joe’s show alone, which is not a debate where RFK Jr could respond in real time and have a civil discussion. Same deal with the highly sensationalized websites you just pointed me to. Hotez started the whole exchange by posting that Vice article you’ve been spamming, Rogan simply asked him to come on the show and discuss it with RFK Jr in person. There was nothing offensive or bullying in the way he asked him.
I don’t think I would characterize Rogans response in that way. He asked Dr. Hotez to come on his show to publicly debate RFK Jr and disprove his misinformation. I think Rogan and a lot of people (including myself) would love to hear a scientist explain where RFK Jr is wrong and why.
Let’s talk about oversampling
When I first started noticing oversampling options in my plugins, I turned them up as high as my cpu allowed by default. “It must sound better, right?” But lately, I’ve started noticing that oversampling in most of my plugins kills the transients and punchiness in a way that make it not worth using. Am I crazy or has anyone else experienced this? What situations do you find oversampling useful?

Bluetooth isn’t ideal for audio production due to the latency and audio compression inherent to the technology. That being said, the AirPods Max have an optional cable you can buy to use them with less latency. They’re very hyped headphones (as most consumer headphones will be), so might not be the best for mixing, but might be fine for your purposes.
Any new plugins you’re excited about?
I’ve been loving the Kilohearts Essentials collection lately. Totally free and everything sounds great to me! Covers a lot of ground that stock plugins might not cover.
What DAW is everyone here using and why?
I’m currently using Pro Tools but started in Logic. For my needs and workflow, Pro Tools just has everything I need and I’m used to it. Curious what everyone on here is using?
