It's Wednesday, my dudes.
  • Why is there so much hate on bitter. Bitter is superior to sweet in every way. The best pastries are the ones that use cranberries instead of blueberries. Sugar is even added to blueberries and strawberries as if that made them more desirable. The best pastries are minimalist with sugar. Orange-cranberry bread is one of the best combinations.

  • Where will the internet go post-reddit and post-twitter?
  • Geocities?

Anyways, that would be interesting. There coupd even be a website that indexes all the personal sites. It could even highlight interesting things from those sites. Perhaps it would even organize those interests into sub groups that you can follow and keep up to date on new information added to those sites.

  • Most instances are still federated. Really?
  • Florida has seen a huge increase of Republicans moving here from states where they were the underdogs. I expect a much wider margin in red favor this year. I would expect the compliment is true, that their states will have a wider blue margin. That is as long as they aren't committing voter fraud in one or the other state.

  • Alternatives to congress
  • The media is often owned by the same people buying the partisan politicians. First past the poll consolidates power. It makes it easier to convince voters to vote for the lesser of two evils while party funding overloads media with their preferred candidates. Some states even get away with laws that only allow the two parties to be on their ballots. If you can vote based on candidate approval, you could choose your best candidate and your lesser of evils. When people see this make a difference after one or two cycles, parties will lose power in the polls.
