You might want to take a look at cage which has been designed for that.

That still requires some level of graphical session though

So far it has been a great argument against the restructuring. I think we are on Grenth's Door (originally a Piken Square guild) and the teamchat has become extremely toxic and full of spam (guild ads, people discovering that they can send item links, "help hills"), to the point where some in the guild have completely muted it. Oh, and obviously: Some guildmates have been placed in a different team despite selecting the guild.

Now for a bit more meta-commentary: I think the alliances kind of defeat the purpose of WvW, where you could just get an interesting battle every week, into a GvG. We already have EotM for these. Unfortunately this has made the matches completely predictable as soon as the more experienced members got an overview of what guilds we are fighting. We know when they are online and their overall tactics. That's just boring.

EarthPorn was a great place, but BeautifulPlaces really would've been the better name.
