Has anyone noticed how some liberals are disgustingly trying to equate the Palestinean struggle with Ukraine?
  • Most interesting to me in all these conflicts is that the same people who claim and know their local media is corrupted and lying about local issues (that they themselves know about), think that same media is telling the truth about some far away country.

    Crazy.

If they claim Fox is always lying, than they should turn on Fox news and believe that everything Fox says is a lye.

  • Is US ditching India?
  • This whole thing looks more and more like plain racism and nacism as days go by.

Now everyone not white or under direct white occupation by whites is being hated and everyone white is good, even (or especially) an ex SS officers.

    Quite scary development of situation.

  • Is any of these true about China?
  • People don't take into account what was before, they just hate on Chinese government by cherry picking bad things without context.

Very similar to not understanding which state Russia was before Putin and playing stupid why Russians are supporting him even with all the problems he brings.

  • Does anyone have context over the political situation of south africa?
  • I am glad you like it, I was trying for years to find any local info from Africa, mostly to get to know the culture there and it was non existent. Looks like big parts got access to internet in the last few years and started sharing, it is beautiful.

I don't think they will just start viewing withe people, from whose hand they have suffered a lot during centuries and still do, as equals anytime soon.

But I do think that the way toward it is for them to free themselves and looks like it is happening in whole sub Saharan Africa.

  • Does anyone have context over the political situation of south africa?
  • Julius Malema, stood before a huge crowd at a rally on Saturday, directly calling for the murder of the Boers

Yeah right, if you watch the whole video of it he was not standing, he was jumping or dancing. And he was not alone whole stadium was singing it. And he claims it is not call to kill anyone, but is part of their history which still hurts.

Funny thing is popularity of it started with Elon Musk complaining and not liking Julius Malema. Musk is from SA.

Here is video showing it and explaining https://youtu.be/U6hksJ6T3GA and to get some context how racist those white people over there are https://youtu.be/-AGPiY6PnDw

I know there is some Julis Malema press conference that last almost two hours and he explains it and answers questions, try to find it I can find it right now.

That said, I can not give you context with some reliability, but can give you links to few yt channels I am following in my quest to get better picture of people in Africa you can find their thoughts:

  • What's with all the far-right rage about illegal immigration?
  • I think some people just attack the weakest or least protected, illegal imigrants are in that role right now. For a long time it was gay people or black people, but now that it is frowned upon they have found new victim.

You can see some of them pretending to be on the left, liberal or progresive, but they are still angry and agressive.

  • American vegans, where do you buy your food to save money?
  • Maybe US is very different from Europe, but think it depends what someone expects of food.

McDonald is not food. So it's not for comparing with real food. But even than I can not imagine potatos and peas cost more than anything in McD. less thah a pond of peas and 100ml of olive oil must be less than 5usd, add few tomatos and you have a great meal.

  • Niger’s new government defies imperialist-backed ECOWAS war threats
  • I hope ecowas will not attack, ww really don't need war over there.

Would be nice if everyone could leave them to sort it out themselves. I am not for military rule, but waching small afrjcan channels and vlogs I don't see much support for "democraticaly elected" president of Niger, but also for Nigeria who has it in writing by his parlament.

  • “We must kill Iranians and Russians.” - Former CIA Director Mike Morell (Aug 8, 2016)
  • Liberals must know what the people they root for are like.

They know, that's why they vote for them.

I don't know about their internal problems, but Trump was president during whose mandate US trow least amount of bombs and was reducing number every years he was in office.

And they hate him and call him Putin's puppet, and sulport Hitlary as good solution. Crazy.

  • Get fucked vicky
  • Worst part for me is using "democratic" and "democratically elected" all the time.

Was he really democratically elected? Someone wants to tell me that Niger had full free electio without any problems and without interference from outside?

And even more, that France and US give a shit about democracy in Niger?

    Yeah, right.

  • The land of the fee and the home of the bribe 🦅🇺🇸🫡
  • Only about 2.

US doesn't have 'aid', they call it 'aid' but is usually corruption money or loan.

For example, take a look at what is Ukraine getting. Not aid, most of it is some kind of loan.

I think definition of aid is that they don't own anything in return, but US is not using it like that.

  • Amy Kotlin devs around?
  • Kotlin doesn't have nearly as much of a community as Rust

Yeah, because it doesn't need it, it is easy to get started. And I guess kotlin devs are busy making money.

Joking a litle bit, but it is true. I expect there is much more work for kotlin than rust devs, especially with less experience.

Go for it, make some small projects, extend some of existing open source ones.

I was mostly working with php and python and taking ul kotlin was easy. I have few small apps I made for myself.

So my suggestion is just jump into it, learn as you go.

  • Since war might start today I would like to hear your opinions on sitation in Niger?

They are creating another war and now those that claimed that war is never an option will attack Niger.

I guess this is another example that war is forbidden for anoyone else, but they are always righ.

Additionally they speak about people in Africa like they are not important and don't have mind lf their own. They don't even try to hide their racism anymore.

I attached video of one opinion with some information from Africa.
