Why does a cow's life depend on a robot?
On some public networks, my Wireguard VPN just doesn't work. Although I can connect to my server using SSH, so I assume the network was configured to block certain ports or how else can it block VPN connections?
Some time ago, I tried Ubuntu for the first time. I was shocked that the preinstalled Firefox (snap package) took 10 seconds to launch, compared to 1-2 seconds on Windows.
Android has the same feature.
I am copying every single url from browser and paste it to Celluloid. That's how I watch youtube on PC.
Maybe a reason not to use Snapchat?
It's only 104 MB/s. Not enough for RAW video.
USB 3.0 has additional contacts.
My RPi4 refused to start with a 2x2.5" hard drive, so I did some workarounds. I connected the USB 3.0 +5V pin to the GPIO and powered the RPi using a PD trigger with MINI 560 (5A DC-DC converter). In my case, a random 18W QC brick was enough.
Yt-dlp still works for me on Android, but only for h264 videos. When I try to download VP9, I get an error.
Avis Libre gallery can convert images from/to WEBP.
Maybe try Alpine?
Their products are just crap in terms of quality, whether they are evil or not. Food from local producers is usually much better for the same price.
Open browser and go to piped/individious page. If your console doesn't have browser than suffer.
I would not pay anyway. This is a principled position after I was shown a fraudulent advertisement 10 times in one evening (which used children with cancer to manipulate emotions)
Smarttubenext. I even install it on every hotel TV I use.
I use Librewolf with Ublock and sponsorblock. Sometimes youtube video stops loading or keeps seeking 5-10 seconds forward. However, reloading the page helps. I don't have such problems when watching Youtube with mpv.
Official Telegram app on Android doesn't allow to send code in SMS
I completely broke my phone screen and attempted to log into my Telegram account from my secondary phone. I downloaded the APK from telegram.org, entered my phone number, but the app sent the code to another device with no option to receive it via SMS. Then, I tried to create a new account using a new physical SIM card, but Telegram still showed 'code sent to other device' as if the account was already registered on that SIM card. When I tried to add the phone number to my Telegram account, it displayed 'this number is not in Telegram.' It seems like Telegram blocks any attempts to send verification codes via SMS or call on Android. Want to know how I finally created a new account? I had to ask my friend to log in from his iPad. Unfortunately, that account got banned and deleted within 5 days, even though I wasn't doing anything wrong or suspicious.
