How has Scale been on Linux vs BSD? Any complaints or plug-in compatibility issues?
Don’t reinvent the wheel and write this yourself. Have your application write out a log, ingest the log into a tool, and use the tool for your analytics.

Having updated to this release also appears to have resolved (or at least, greatly improved) the viewing of remote instances. All/Hot is actually usable now.
Also curious about the database improvements. Have you noticed any improvements to resource utilization and load?

When viewing /All using Hot, I’m seeing a bunch of 3-4 year old posts, with no comments or new upvotes. This mostly appears to be affecting remote instances, but only on this instance; I don’t see the same occurring on lemmy.ml, for example.
