Why? Are we not doing enough?
  • I'm one of the people who has stopped coming here. I'll keep visiting occasionally but the lack of content and pro-east/anti-west rhetoric is just as irritating as the maga/conspiracy crowds on reddit.

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.ml mayo @lemmy.sdf.org

Can I subscribe to a kbin instance that is subscribed to a lemmy.ml community?

Not 100% sure what my question is but this is what I want to do:

    I'm here: lemmy.sdf.org

And I want to subscribe to this: https://rainy.place/m/[email protected]

And I'm not trying to go here: https://lemmy.sdf.org/c/[email protected]

    Possible?

    FMovies' new layout is nice
  • Those are good changes but I don't like the layout, specifically the moving trending banner, or how the banner items don't show the video quality at a glance. Kind of busier overall.

  • I did it! Unsubscribed from every Reddit sub that didn't close in protest.
  • A solid gesture but I don't think it's necessary to delete or unsub from reddit. Reddit doesn't need to die, and it won't, but I don't intend to use it like have in the past. I think a lot of people were looking for an excuse to leave, but it was always difficult going to different places because they were so dead. Not anymore.

I like Lemmy, though I'm not sure which servers I want to spend time on, or maybe I want to host my own. SDF? World? beehaw.org? I'm still checking in on reddit daily, but I'm spending more time on lemmy and it's kind of fun here in a nice, non-reddit kind of way.

Still eagerly waiting to get into Tildes.
