TOTK alternate story ideas
So I just finished the game and had some alternate story ideas. I'll share mine and I'm curious to hear other people's ideas. These are just for fun, so don't get too riled up. I'm a sucker for dark endings.
(Spoilers ahead!)
-
Mineru was a traitor all along and was conspiring with Ganondorf. She was jealous of Rauru getting to be king, and when he marries Sonia she becomes king and has more power over Hyrule than Mineru. In the cutscene where Ganondorf kills Sonia, it's Mineru who does it instead. Link only learns of this at the end, when mineru leads him astray at the bottom of the depths where Ganondorf is.!<
-
After defeating Ganondorf, Zelda does not transform back. She remains a dragon and wanders off into the distance. Link is saddened by this. The ghost of Rauru sees this and tells link to cut open his hand. His secret stone was inside, and link eats it, becoming a dragon himself. He flies into the horizon to be with Zelda as dragons.!<
-
Another idea for Mineru is that, instead of being a traitor, she's actually the Twilight Princess, Midna in her Twili form. Instead of the Owl mask, she woulda had her Midna mask (which looks like a sage mask!)!<
And I assume the image is an unrelated demonstrating a rescue operation
They got pulverized
Apparently there's been a "compress the rich" hashtag going around.
Though That 19 year old didn't want any part in this, was scared of the whole thing, and only went to appease his father
Yep, I try to upvote everything and comment as much as I can. I'm still confused about how to post to specific instances on Jerboa though. Like I'm typing the name but it's not showing up in the dropdown
The most discouraging thing that happened was that when I wrote a long and thoughtdul comment and press send, Jerboa gives me the "java type blabla" error, and I lost everything I typed. Then I don't wanna type it again and I just give up on commenting
Hopefully these issues will be fixed soon! As I understand it it's not even an issue with Jerboa specifically.
Anyone know why this is happening?
How do I click this on jerboa without it prompting me to send an email to that address?
The user "swoletariat" on Tiktok makes some really high quality videos of sonic the hedgehog explaining things like wage theft and how to unionize. I've never used tiktok in my life, but I think this kind of memefication of serious issues is the best way to raise awareness with gen-Z.
I saw it because someone messaged me the video file directly via discord. I highly recommend sharing it around.
Do it OP, Last time I sent an email to one of these companies they sent me 10 coupons for free cookies.
Spez is salty because he sold Reddit for 10m back in the day
CBC did a whole expose on this! Really interesting video: https://youtu.be/W1yqcagavfY
Wow it looks like those cubes from zelda
I see several posts, the latest being 13 hours ago
One thing I wish these news sites would cover is that it's not only the API changes that people are upset about.
This was just the straw that broke the camels back. It's been a long time coming.
My personal gripes were:
- Corporate astroturfing (this is the #1 reason I left, the entire front-page just felt like r/hailcorporate but nobody is aware)
- Reddit official app served ads in the damn comment section
- Bots of many varieties. Karma farming bots. Politically motivated bots (especially on r/Canada)
- Mod abuse (r/antiwork for instance)
- Censorship (r/fencesitter for instance)
- The stupid NFTs being pushed
Also, the API situation will make it harder to moderate subs without the tools that were previously available
I'm also new to this and I'm confused about something. On jerboa, when I click a link like the one you just posted, how can I subscribe to it? It seems to open it in-browser but within jerboa but there's no subscribe button or anything
I see your post, so I guess that means sub is not closed?
If you're starved for lesbian content I recommend that episode!
Damn, I don't have Reddit anymore so I can't vote or even see the upvote numbers on the comments. Can anyone give me the rundown? This is hilarious
I've never heard of that. Where did that rumor come from?
Comment sections getting mixed up on Lemmy.
I'm trying to be very patient with the technical issues so far because I know scaling is not easy.
The bugs that jump out the most are:
-
Sometimes Jerboa shows comments of a previously viewed post on a different post. If you comment, it'll go to the old thread. To avoid this, swipe down to force a refresh.
-
SORT BY HOT doesn't work. (But you can sort by New, all instances)
-
"Could not value type java something something", honestly this is when I wait a bit and just try again. I have no good workaround for this one.
The front page of Lemmy is the same as it was yesterday, BUT that made me realize that I had an unhealthy addiction to Reddit, refreshing multiple times a day and doomscrolling never ending content
I've gone a full week without Reddit and I'm realizing the sheer amount of time I wasted on that fucking site. I'm taking back control of my time, my mental real estate, and mindfulness. I don't need new content every single waking moment, checking the app multiple times a day. If I check Lemmy every other day, that SHOULD be the relationship I want with an app like this.
And if I'm really really bored, I'll check "All instances" and sort by New on Jerboa!
