Microsoft Defender Flags Tor Browser as a Trojan and Removes it from the System - Deform
  • At least on Arch Linux, I've gotten a heavily modded Skyrim to run just fine (tbh, even better than on windows), so it should definitely be doable, although perhaps a bit tricky.
This was with a vanilla wine & some winetricks and a quite old Skyrim base game, though, so not sure about the newer Skyrim iterations.

  • Guess I'm a socialist. Guess I'm antifa too.
  • I'm going to take a leap of faith here and assume the "need" is for mental health problems and not physical traumas.

When you start seeing unlawful violence as a solution, you have become part of the problem. :/

  • Fear, loathing, and excitement as Threads adopts open standard used by Mastodon
  • willing to adopt an open standard they’re not in control of

    yet

Make no mistake, they will certainly try to capture the standard under their exclusive influence, just like Google has done with everything web related.

  • Instagram’s Threads surpasses 100 million users
  • You should remember that there's a lot of numbers between 0 and 1.4 billion - say, 100 million.

Why would they not pad their numbers if they cannot meaningfully be held accountable?
If padding with X users is projected to generate the most profit, then they are going to do just that.

Blind is an app that provides an anonymous forum and community for verified employees to discuss issues. Users on Blind are grouped by topics, company and their broader industry. The app verifies that the registered users actually work in the company through their work email and claims to keep user identities untraceable.

  • Lemmy faces the same expectations problems as every free/libre software
  • Clearly you have never used Arch Linux then - Arch Wiki is truly marvelous.

Likely the problem is more with people not willing to learn anything new, unless forced to do so, because that will break their routines and many are aversive of that.
