lol okay here me out, I am enough capable of looking up info on these communities myself through probably one or two web engine searches, but then again we also have to consider that:
- It is a funny title.

Ive been running a few different arch based distros this time around though not arch itself. So no... I do not use Arch btw (lol). I am about to install Lubuntu with Ubuntu Studio on top of it due to my bish ass UAD Apollo Twin making me cry soon. I want to to check out DAWs on Linux damn it :) What do you run yourself? I happily take advice on any Linux or workflow related stuff btw.
Yea I relate to that with learning from forums and tinkering(?), best way for sure but indeed crazy time sink. Im interested in trying learning from creating a few of those 'Google Podcast from a PDF or whatever' for maybe other scenarios like when commuting to see if its a thing.

Hey! 👋🏻 I just wanted to say I appreciate your efforts I am new to Lemmy and fairly new to Linux as well, although committed to the point of trying to write my own drivers if I have to. I have been distro hopping for some months and yea, I really heckin' like Linux. It comes as no surprise really, always been into computers, remembering installing Red Hat and later BeOS in my teens (it was kind of odd, gotta Google that OS. Is it even Unix based - I dont think it is? 🤷🏻♂️ It had nice looking icons lol) in my early teens just to have something else than Win XP or whatever it was at that time to look at. Nerds unite! ✊🏻
I am learning a lot here. I am also Swedish lol. I was however great with the English classes, easily top 3 (okay honestly though I am being humble, I was really dominating those classes up until high school, so hard I dont even remember anyone even being in second or third place)
It sounds obnoxius but its true, if you also had a negative reaction to my story like myself, please find relief in that it was my peak and that I am single since years with heavy substance abuse going on the daily - also let me delete this in a bit okay bye lol
Hey, I have no real value to add but saw that the post had 0 comments so I will just add that I feel you, having been looking for something else than the factory OS that is on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and I dont know whats up with this model but to me it seems like it is not supported. Version 10 and 12 is though (whyyy) 🥲 Similar situation with one of the other alternatives I looked up earlier this year of I am remembering correctly. I hope someone who actually knows stuff comes in here with some good news in 2025!
