Locked out because accidentally turned on 2FA
I am locked out of my main account because I turned on 2FA while testing for lemmy app development. Didn't finish setting up the 2FA but did not turn it off in the settings. Now I can't log in at all
Resetting password did not help. Any guidance? 😔
Hey, original Quiblr dev here.
So... I was testing 2FA in my main profile (Aurelius). I turned it on and realized that it requires a 2FA app. I never turned it off in my settings, but now it requires me to provide 2FA even though I have no way to authenticate
All this to say, I added 2FA in the Quiblr web app. In the name of speed, I built it blind (no testing - since I dont have Lemmy 2FA). But the documentation looks simple enough.
Feel free to take a look and see if it works for you now!
I’m surprised it’s taken this long for them to make an android app
It’s an old reference but it checks out
Helpful context! I had the same question
Thanks for posting their rules. Very helpful and informative
Do you have any iOS recs that you use?
This is beautiful! Did you take the photo?
For some reason, I feel pain when looking at this sandwich
Yeah, I had to do some pinch and zoom action
We did it
That’s a good point. But I think the fediverse needs less friction for this to benefit more of the general public.
Like any new technology, I think it will take a while for the experience to get smoothed out
Looks like this could be an album cover of the summer’s hottest drop
Incredible and super aesthetic!
It’s nice to see a variety of web and native apps getting developed
