You do know that this comment could be posted word for word on a right wing post and everybody would agree with it just as well? The term "critical thinking" alone is so worthless, not to mention "common sense". Some people justify ancient aliens with that phrasing. I came here to find this comment. Moderation and censorship are so profoundly confused with each other so often. And without any moderation, bots and scam will take over every kind of content eventually.

Wie der Rest auch: einen Tipp kann ich nicht geben, außer Geduld und immer neues auszuprobieren. Wir Erwachsenen sind in dem Alter die mit den Gewohnheiten, die kleinen sind da viel abwechslungsreicher was ausprobieren anbelangt von diversen und Bett geh und Beruhigungs Ritualen (in meiner Erfahrung).

Vor allem, da wir das als Eltern alle anders/unterschiedlich begleiten und machen, und die Kinder alle super unterschiedlich sind, sind Tipps super schwer.

Aber mein Mitgefühl hast du auf jeden Fall, ihr müsst das jetzt als Phase aushalten und überstehen. Wie gesagt, kreative neue Ideen helfen manchmal sehr in gefühlten Sackgassen.

Wir haben zum Beispiel alles anders gemacht, als du von euch beschrieben hast, und hatten auch solche Phasen. Irgendwann ab nem Jahr wird das gefühlt alles etwas logischer und nachvollziehbarer. Bis dahin hilft nur unendlich viel Geduld und Liebe.

Und immer dran denken, die kleinen meinen es nie persönlich. Du machst wahrscheinlich alles richtig.

The latter is true unfortunately. Because of understandable security reasons they gave up the SMS integration about a year ago since it's unencrypted and not a good fit to the security standards of signal.

Until there is some form of open interconnection between messaging apps there will be no end to WhatsApp.

Don't get me wrong, signal is a great alternative, but it does not achieve more then it's core value of security, and this will never be enough.

Das ist der Grund, warum ich vor gebrauchen Smartphones so zurück schrecke: die Flaggschiff Modelle kosten auch gebraucht kaum weniger Geld. Das Geld gebe ich dann lieber für ein aktuelles Smartphone aus, das nicht Apples neuestes Gerät ist und die Hälfte davon kostet.

Also ich verstehe deinen Gedanken mit dem gebrauchten Gerät und dem Mehrwert und alles, aber irgendwelche schon lang nicht mehr supporteten Android Smartphones gebraucht zu kaufen, da fehlt mir die Bastelwut für. Und ich mache zuhause viel mit open source und Linux, aber irgendwie muss wenigstens das Handy spielen ohne stundenlang recherchieren zu müssen.

Wie gesagt, zum eigentlichen Thema: refurbished Kram im Bereich smartphone ist mir immer noch zu teuer - oder zu alt und aufwendig.

Also Netzwerk Technik ist auch Linux nah. So network engineer wäre eine job Titel dazu. Aber man macht natürlich hauptsächlich mit vielen anderen CLI basierten Systemen rum und muss ständig neue Sachen lernen, und natürlich viel Technik und Hardware diverser Art. Aber ich hab viele Systeme, die auf Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, alles mögliche mal mehr mal weniger wild) basieren, gehostet werden oder ähnlich. Virtualisierung ist super wichtig. Der Einstieg kann sehr einfach sein, meistens brauch man erst mal jemanden, der weiß, wie klassisches IT troubleshooting funktioniert, 2 Hände und 2 Füße hat und zuhören kann ^^
