As UP’s population shrinks, Wisconsin rural counties grow. Here’s why.

  • I grew up and spent the first 25 years of my life in Marinette, my partner is from across the river in Menominee. The differences between the two towns is crazy - Menominee can’t attract new businesses to save its life. It only gets worse the farther north you go.
