It's quite sad to see everything related to the blackout on /r/programming wiped.
  • I posted a question on one of theses subs a few weeks ago and had mostly very generic answer that clearly didn't read all the post. I was confused at the time but it makes sense now, it was the same kind of basic trooblesooting steps by chatGPT. Reddit is doomed, there are way too much bots. We can only hope to find a solution before it spreads to the whole internet.

  • What have I done?
  • Don't worry to much about that, you can still play the lower level mission for theses nodes. I accidentaly created and boosted my first lich to level 5 at mr12 a few days ago, but it wasn't that bad to kill. I only needed to find a team for the railjack part.

  • What is the Warframe's community's stance on the Reddit blackout and what are your next steps?
  • Why shouldn't I care ? Some bots I loved will get shutdown, the app I use will get shutdown (boost) and the overall quality of the website will worsen (moderation bot), of course I care. I would have gladly paid to keep all of that if the price eas reasonable.

As of forcing everyone to leave, in my mind mods who have created and supported the communities unpaid have the right to destroy them. If reddit still want theses subreddit, it can recreate them, with paid mod this time hopefully. If the commumities really existed in the first place and did not migrate, they will come back.

  • Accurate
  • (true) "8 men own as much as 50% of the population"

(false) "8 men own 50% of the world wealth"

Both are different because wealth isn't equaly distributed. The 50% poorest do not own 50% of the world wealth. In fact, they own 10% of it from my previous quick calculation.

So the oxfam article is true, but it isn't what is stated in the meme.

Even tho, theses number are still insane, especially in the context in the oxfam article where we see 3.600.000.000 people own just as much as 8 guys.

  • Do people really think like that ? We are not mad because of the api being paid, we are mad because of the crazy prices. They are doing this to nuke 3rd party app, and nothing else.

Of course they have the right to do that, but we have the right to leave too. I think the warframe reddit should just be archived with a post sending here (even if reddit admin will never allow it).
