I want to test run Arch Linux in a virtual machine, but don't know which hypervisor to choose. Is Virtual Box, or VMware the better Windows hypervisor for running Arch Linux?

  • Either of them work just as fine, it's just up to personal preference. I tend to use VirtualBox for pretty much anything linux, VMware for windows

    Safer to host NPM on a VPS?

  • I think that depends on if the VPS charges incoming and outgoing external connections, some only charge outgoing. From VPS to browser would be outgoing, from your home instance to VPS would be incoming.

    Self-hosted trello alternative?

  • Someone recommended https://plane.so in another thread, I tried it out and it looks promising. I haven't tried to self host it yet tho, and trello import isn't available yet: https://github.com/makeplane/plane/issues/1251
