Most of what I have seen on the meme communities I follow have been par-and-course with what I expected to see on internet. Although I agree that it is morally wrong to joke with malintent when someone passes, I think humor is a normal response to tragedy. As long as the memes aren't egregious about it, then they still get a chuckle out of me and help me feel better about the situation.

As for the different ending rules, I am not sure what they are exactly since the Seabears destroyed the team they were playing when I went.

What I meant by that comment is that even when TOTK drops frames, it never bothers me enough to retract from the gameplay. It is consistent in when, and how it drops frames.

This is in contrast to most AAA games these days that seem to vary anywhere from 120+ fps to sub-30 fps at random. This causes studder, inconsistent frame times/input latency, and overall just bad feeling controls.

Amnesia: The Bunker has been amazing so far. It has been checking all the boxes for effective, fun-to-play, horror. The gameplay loop and systems make it so it's easy to pick up and put down, where each adventure into the bunker feels like you are breaking some new ground before returning back to the central saferoom. The sound and level design are also perfect. All I can say is that it really does feel like I am in a sprawling WW1 bunker that has a horrifying eldritch monster burrowing in its walls.

Yep, for steamdeck your options are to install windows or to stream. Greenlight is a good linux application that handles the streaming better than the website imo. It can also do remote play if you have an Xbox, which generally has much lower input latency.

It is currently not possible. Games installed through GamePass have some kind of Windows compatibility layer which cannot be run by any wine or proton versions. At least not yet.

The Golden Path is probably one of the coolest puzzles I've done in a game, ever.

Pretty much this. I believe the general consensus is that at a small timescale, nutrient timing may have some effect, but at long timescales where it really matters for body composition, a small caloric surplus and adequate protein intake are all that are needed to reliably build muscle when resistance training.

As long as it's a consistent 30 fps, then I am fine with this decision.

I think the misconception here is that Microsoft would STAY pro-consumer after acquiring everything under the sun. Companies are forced to be pro-consumer when there is actual competition, and the opposite is almost always true without regulation.

Phasmophobia is especially great with a group of friends who are all going in blind. I have some great gaming memories thanks to the first handful of hours with this game.

I have been using Nobara. It is maintained by Glorious Eggroll who develops popular Wine and Proton forks, and it has been a pretty pain-free experience playing the latest games with near native performance.
