mini moog 1969
  • Hey I'm 54 today, go easy on me!

  • 303 plugin suggestions please.
  • That's probably second only to the Phoscyon 2 on my list.

It's a bit cheaper and a bit less tweakable which is actually a bonus for me.

I'm seriously considering it now so thanks for the suggestion.

  • I would love a td-3 but it has to be software unfortunately.

  • Yeah, it's on my list for when I have money. Looking at all options atm. Thanks.

Hi, as the title and free options are equally useful until I can snag a top rated on sale.

It seems like the most highly rated is Phoscyon 2. As I said, if I can get this on sale then great.

But what else do you use regularly that does the job?

    Just got a Novation Peak
  • I can't really help you, but congrats!

The internet is generally very positive about the Peak and I'm sure you'll love it for many years.

I'm not a menu diver and can only just cope with the shallow paddling on my Subsy37. There are few modern polys that I could do justice to, most of my experience was with a Juno 106 and a Korg Polysix.

Which is all to say that I now chose to use plugins for poly synth duties and while that's best for me, I would use a 106 or Polysix in a heartbeat if I could.

Enjoy your Peak, if you get anywhere near the enjoyment I had from my polys you'll be having a great time.

  • Moog Music acquired by InMusic for a new chapter of innovation
  • Yeah it was recent. Novation have been killing it though so fingers crossed for Sequential.

Akai do seem a bit stale but MPCs get a lot of love.

  • Akai is it really. Apparently you can't stand in the way of Capitalism.

Can't remember who bought Sequential, are they any better?

In startling news, the usually fiercely independent Moog Music joins the InMusic family to tap into global distribution and brand expertise.

Will this make my Subsy37 worth more? I jest of course. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for Moog.

    And yes, it's pronounced MOOG.

    It's just a #goat #korg thing.

My first post on here couldn't be serious.

    I am making a waveform.social app
  • This Fediverse thing is blowing my mind a bit, I feel like I'm too old for it!

I'm here using Jerboa for Lemmy and this is my first comment.

I think this is going to be great. Tbh, I joined Diaspora a few years ago but never got into it. Things have improved.

Thanks for doing this, it's great to be here. I'll skip the beta but looking forward to trying the app.

    Cheers!
