That's one smart serial killer
  • Isn't it funny how lamb is both the name of a cute baby animal and also name of a dish?

  • Thanks man, happy to share it with people who appreciate it :)

  • Thank you! :) Yes I often think about a different kind of cyberpunk that's mixed with old fantasy elements and how it'd be

  • Apple is bringing RCS to the iPhone in iOS 18 | The new standard will replace SMS as the default communication protocol between Android and iOS devices
  • That is interesting actually, but compared to other companies I'd not say that's significant. Specially because I suspect they switched to WebKit because they had no other choice 🤷‍♂️

  • If you do anything as merely speak the name of anything FOSS in Apple headquarters, they throw you in a deep dark well in the middle of the campus and remove your name from the world of the living.

  • Hey thanks! I did the design but the relief itself is made of different 3D scans that I found on sketchfab, no it's more of a collage :)

  • So that's a problem at the moment. I am using Orange pi 5 plus which is an arm processor and it doesn't get hot by default, plus there's a fan and heat sink on it, so I didn't put any exhaust holes for aesthetics, but now it turns on the fan every a few minutes for a minute because it gets too hot in there plus the ssd nvme is generating a lot of heat. it's running in about 58°c which is alright but I'm planning to add a small fan and some exhaust holes for the next version.

  • It's a 40% keyboard, so there are two function keys, if you hold the first one the top row becomes F keys and number keys, hold both at the same time and you have media controls etc. It's a fully programmable keyboard so you can mix and match keys as you wish :)

  • I will definitely share them, but there are some design problems that I have to solve first, for example the hinge on the back doesn't sit right and there's a small gap when you close the screen, also some parts broke while assembling and I had to glue them back since I used wrong size for screws. Will fix the problems and share the design in a few weeks :)

  • I'm overwhelmed with all the positive feedback, I'm really glad I shared it! :)

  • Hey thanks! I was also worried about the comfort but it's surprisingly much more comfortable than it looks. The keyboard seat is about 5cm) 2inches) tall. While typing I put my palms on two sides of two griffins so that provides a nice resting place. Tried typing for about an hour on it and it's more or pess comfortable. Still not great if the table you're using is already high since your arms will bend too much upwards but on my lap it's good.

  • Hey thanks! I think I still need to change the red cables with black ones but I'm happy with how it turned out :)
