What feature do you want if u/lenster have communities 👥?

If you have an account it'd be great to show support for reddit-like threads and mod tools. You probably won't be able to comment on this post but there's a few comments that say something similar that you can like to give a sentiment boost such as this one: https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x1d6e-0x092a-DA-0563fbdf

  • Eth's Market Value/Tx fees = 88

What's the point of this metric? What can be inferred by it?

  • introducing governance there also opens up a very large can of worms and will be interesting to see how they intend to keep that credibly neutral and prevent capture

I think by "govern" they just mean the network is being run by pg project (Gitcoin, protocol guild, clr.fund, giveth. etc.)

  • The 3 thing's that keep me from using ubuntu as my every day machine is there's like 3 or 4 different ways to install app and only one of them is easy but apps are rarely distributed that way, the directory structure makes it difficult to find app files, and the UI feels unpolished like most open source apps/websites.

  • Be the change you want to see, anyone can create a new daily

  • New EthFinance Buddy extension update

EthFinance Buddy is a Chrome extension that displays the amount of doots they have and their profile as shown on DailyDoots.com.

    This new update includes:

    • Kbin upgrades:

      • Sort comments by new as default
      • Bring the comment box to the top of the comments
      • Make comments collapsible
      • Opens comment links in new tabs
      • Highlights and scrolls to linked comments
    • Settings to toggle enable/disable the doot counts, profiles, and each of the Kbin features

I'd like to add Firefox support but it's not currently working and will need to spend some more time looking at it.

Also for those that missed it, https://ethfinance.org/ now redirects to the current daily thread.

For the new reddit design, you can use https://new.ethfinance.org/, but it doesn't work on mobile because of a bug that incompetent reddit hasn't fixed yet.

    Why?

    1. It's convenient because the daily thread is where the action is but the link is different every day
    2. If the community ever ends up moving to another platform due to these Reddit changes, you'll be able to find out where we are from this URL (great for if you don't follow along closely)
    3. If we eventually end up going with a protocol-based solution, this URL can serve as a directory for the various frontend options

    Reddit Alternative Analysis

I've put together a comparison of Reddit alternatives:

I know everyone is favorable to kbin but I think there's still some questions that need to be answered, such as hosted vs self-hosted, how mirroring works, and issues with impersonation.
