Just started toying with Jellyfin for my media after Plex started being freaks about everything. I love PlexAmp though so anything that moves the needle on that is excellent. Tried some other players but currently, my setup only works in network and I’ll need to configure SSL somehow.
I’m a sicko for RSS and podcasts but it’s mostly been from The Athletic or Patriots-specific content. Pepper in some YouTube videos and you’re there.
Gonna end up being one bot talking to another, believing that they're gonna make money off each other soon enough.
But Wikipedia still calls the Dead Internet Theory a "conspiracy theory". smh
I appreciate that responsiveness!!
A last second KO is pretty special but I get it, Ilia realizes that UFC is an entertainment product. If you create a feud, you’re more likely to get the fight.
The worst part is how fractured games already are and how this will incentivize it. There’s already Amazon, Peacock, and whatever bullshit you’re dealing with on cable which is impossible to understand. Even the Sunday Ticket doesn’t cover all of your team’s games and that shit’s so overpriced.
I’ve seen this happen a bunch, unfortunately. A lot of communities with ghosted admins.
This feels like a fever dream of a story.
If only Twitter API was still functional. :/
Red Sox righty Giolito gets internal elbow brace, out for season
Boston Red Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito is expected to miss this season after his right ulnar collateral ligament was repaired with an internal brace.
>TAMPA, Fla. -- Boston Red Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito is expected to miss this season after his right ulnar collateral ligament was repaired with an internal brace. > >Dr. Jeffrey R. Dugas operated Tuesday at the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Giolito was able to avoid ligament replacement surgery, which he had on Aug. 31, 2012, with Dr. Lewis Yocum, less than two months after Washington made Giolito the top overall pick in the 2012 amateur draft. > >Red Sox manager Alex Cora said before Wednesday's game at the New York Yankees he doesn't think Giolito will take the mound again in 2024. Recovery from the internal brace surgery, which uses an artificial material to make the repair, has allowed pitchers to return to the major leagues in as little as nine months. Tommy John surgery, which uses a tendon from elsewhere in the body to replace the torn ligament, has a usual rehab period of 12 to 18 months. > >"So go through the process and hopefully he gets back sooner rather than later, you know, whenever that is, but I do believe it was like the best-case scenario," Cora said. "Seeing what has happened with this procedure in the past, he's going to be able to go out there and throw his changeup and his good fastball and help the Red Sox win some more games." > >Giolito, who signed a $38.5 million, two-year deal with the Red Sox, turns 30 in July. > >He made two spring training. starts He threw a pair of scoreless innings in his first outing before on Feb. 25 against Minnesota, then reported discomfort in the elbow allowing four runs and three walks in 2 1/3 innings against the Twins on March 1. > >Giolito reached the major leagues in 2016 with Washington. He was an All-Star in 2019 while pitching for the Chicago White Sox and has been reliable during his big-league career, throwing at least 160 innings in five of the last six seasons. He is 61-62 with a 4.43 ERA in 178 starts and two relief appearances.
100%. Really fun player with a high ceiling and is a testament to his mental toughness and focus. I wouldn't want him starting the first year, though. Rookies hopping in are burdened with the league's expectations and just feel like they're more likely to risk injury.
There are some good gambles in later rounds and Darnold can be a bridge guy, absorbing the shock of hitting the league.
FWIW, QB free agency was also ass. The best contract was given to Kirk Cousins so it shows that the real highlights are already locked up in franchises.
Still feels weird to not even see an offer rolled out but looks like they were already looking onto the next. I suppose it's a business, first and foremost. Good FA for the Eagles though.

Yeah, RBs aren't in high demand like that but kinda wild to not even pitch him. I suppose they must've known where he was at and opted to go for Singletary as a result but the Giants are so bizarre to watch.

Giants didn’t even offer him but fought to keep Daniel Jones. That org is so fucked.
You’re probably right but Wilson is a competent quarterback still. He was better with the Broncos than he gets credit even if the results were abysmal.
Porzingis out. Brown, Tatum, Holiday, White, questionable vs Portland

I know the Broncos are down bad after Russell Wilson and Payton drained some picks but is Jeudy really only worth a 5th & 6th?

The fact that they’re starting to observe exfil’d data used to social engineer customers isn’t great but what’re you gonna do.

According to Schultz, Kraft and Belichick are meeting next week to discuss the matter and begin figuring out next steps.
Of course, something has to change but this media circus does feel goofy. My wish is probably to keep Bill but just give him a GM. Let him just do X’s and O’s while having a harder deal maker in the GM office.
