I have a firefox extension that I use at least multiple times a day, that lets me select which format to download an image in - from JPGs (with multiple compression options) to PNG and WEBPs.

Yes! Was just about to make a post for this and saw this. Would really love to have this, easily one of my favourite features on Apollo.

Oh believe me, there are definitely people from either extremes on here as well. What's different on Lemmy/kbin is that server admins can just straight up block and defederate these servers, which means for the most part you won't be seeing these posts unless you specifically look for them.

On a related note, if the bill already has a “gratuity” entry on it, am I still expected to tip on top of that?

Thank goodness. I can see why they wanted the extension, but it wasn't the best execution, like taking one step forward and three steps back with cars rejoining the track against head-on traffic.

How heavy is it to run? I am waiting for GoToSocial to mature slightly before jumping on to host my own instance, but the only reason I'm choosing it really is because of its lightweight-ness.
