TOTUI v1.9.0 Released - A TradeOgre Terminal User Interface

Back in late 2021 somebody in a Monero discord channel suggested to me to create a TUI for the popular TradeOgre exchange. I figured since I used TradeOgre so much and would like a terminal way to place buy orders, sell orders, watch tickers, trading history etc, that I would write a small TUI for TradeOgre. The first release came out in April of 2022.

Earlier this year TradeOgre changed around their API and TOTUI was no longer working. The other day I needed to use TO so I figured I would update this app. This is release v1.9.0.

It has the ability to:

  • Place Buy Orders
  • Place Sell Orders
  • View Coin Pair Trade History
  • View Coin Ticker Info
  • View Order Book of Coin Pair
  • Withdrawals
  • And Much more!

I initially coded this under a different moniker, but protomens and me are one and the same and if needed I can prove it. My company is MathNodes and we have a small dev team that builds blockchain and crypto based applications. We receive no VC funding so if you feel inclined to help us out please donate to the address on the various github pages to keep our applications up to date. FOSS is a very time consuming job but we love it!

AllArk has surpassed a daily swap transaction volume of $100k :)
  • I bought a $20 prepaid visa from them a month or so ago. Had to send them a message on Session to get the card as nothing was sent to my email. When I got the card, no name was attached so I couldn't use it anywhere since every vendor asks for name on card.

I ended up taking the $15 card (there was a $5 processing fee by AllArk) and running it through my company's stripe processing server to get the money back, since I can control stripe whether or not to allow no name associated to the card.

For $20, I got a $15 card that was unusable and ended up getting $13.68 from stripe for it.

Probably won't be dealing with them again, but I may try the swap service just to check it out.
