Why do I need BNB to send Tether??

0.00014 BNB is what I need to transfer out the payment I received in Tether. I'm flat broke. I have no way to pay that transfer fee. So the Tether I have in my wallet is stuck there. If I want to send bitcoin the transfer fees are in bitcoin. Same for ethereum, litecoin.

I'm just so frustrated. I desperstely need that money and I can't even send it out

Hey! Got any cans/bottles I can take?
  • That's really not that bad once you've been acclimated. I usually stay at public libraries during the day and sometimes bus stations have been unlocked so I sleep there during the night.

  • To Linux admins: What certifications/degrees do you guys have?
  • Yes, it's actually pissing me off reading these comments a little because it's not very helpful to tell me to get experience when I don't have any prior experience. That's why I have these certs and a degree man

  • 5'8 20M black. Lost 80 lbs. Can I leave inceldom?
  • This is so weird. I didn't come here to seek validation. If I make a post in the incel community is everyone within the lemmy.ml instance notified? Was this community just abandoned by the original incels as soon as they made it 🤔

  • What should I change about my resume? I'm trying to find an internship in tech support.
  • Yeah.. getting a NAS requires extra time and money I need to spend on hardware in order to create these labs to show off. It's actually pretty frustrating being poor and trying to get into IT. Something about people being in the field claiming it's merit based when most people can't afford the hardware required to create anything more than a primitive homelab irks me the wrong way. I already got the CompTIA A+ and the projects listed on my resume should be basic enough that you can ask me questions on them to ascertain how much I really know about the topic at hand.

But then you get the people saying "certs don't mean anything lmao" ok well how do I get the experience I need to work with the hardware I require if the certifications I get "don't mean anything".

No offense to you. I'll put up some better projects but im not going to go out of my way to get a network switch and router with two desktops to add another entry to a self hosted website in the hopes that maybe a recruiter will briefly talk about that project before deciding to hire me or not.

  • Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I should be more direct with what I did on my resume.

Ideally I'd like to become a network engineer. I'm eligible to challenge the CCNA with a significant discount once I complete this semester.

The website was something I threw together in order to document my networking labs and to feature my small homelab. I don't know how I would properly showcase a OSPF lab on GNS3 in my resume, and I don't think people looking for a sysadmin intern or a warm body in helpdesk care about that.

I'm not really interested in programming and I've been thinking of removing the Java project entirely from my resume.

  • The underlying problem is my appearance. I'm black with especially intimidating facial appearances. You will never ever have to deal with the parents of your first love hating you on the basis.Of something you cannot change yourself. Or racial slursdirected at you because you couldn't complete a task fastenough. Why the is my mom sad that my nose is significantly larger than hers? WHY does she brqg about her significantly lighter skin tone? Because she knowsthatI will have a tough time adapting to a society I didn't ask to be born in on the basis of my very african features.

A therapist will charge me 200 an hour to say "Wow. That's a difficult situation but plastic surgery is no good!" How does that prevent people from walkingintotraffic to avoid me?

I HAVE my A+, I HAVE MY NETWORK+, I got my resume tailored ans I spent a stupid amount of money on a business casual attire. Why laugh as soon as I turn on my camera for the intervi32

The money I lose now will be offset by the monumental gains I will get in income over the periodofmylifetime. As an added bonus people will be noticeably more at eqse with me. What is with everyone? I know plastic surgery is demonized but I've made it known that I will get the procedures I need done.0

  • Because it's an empty platitude. That is my neutral expression. Do you want me to smile at the people trying to quickly ascertain whether I'm dangerous or not? Don't you think that would makes things worse wrt how I'm perceived?

Jfc why do I have to go out of my way to get the advice im seeking. Even finding a person whos both qualified and willing enough to get paid for a comprehensice plastic surgical report was hard. Its the internet. This is an obscure forum. You can say whatever comes to mind and i can glean useful information about what surgeries i can perform. Yeah I'm sure that if I had a permanent smile plastered to my face everytime i left my room then that would prevent both men and women alike from crossing the street to avoid me.

  • I know this isn't the right community but please critique my room. college student recently diagnosed with adhd. this is my room in shared house.
  • Thanks. A lot of good advice for my dire cable management situation. I do need a bed frame but honestly the mattress I sleep on right now was from my landlord's garage. It's hard and my lower back is nearly destroyed from sleeping on it. I'm saving up first for a softer mattress
