So you are just a jerk to me everyone you talk to on lemmy? This distinction being "pendantic" is why society is becoming tech illiterate.
Use different themes for each account make sure the accent colors are distinct and that's how I've solved so far
Wifi != Internet.
Thanks! Makes sense.
Genuine question. Why would one want to post the same thing to multiple communities? Wouldn't that just be considered spam?
This guy accounts
Hopefully now a sync for lemmy user!
Sync for mastadon would be amazing
No it's not me. That user I believe is the admin for it. I discovered that it's a instance for hosting 4wd communities but no user registration. So would like to use it for it's purpose but navigating links is hard. Going to try and help build but I only use sync to access lemmy.
Definitely needs be a setting to change this. The red was a great warning of what to click on freely and what might not be so safe. I personally would like it red and blurred but configurable is best.
Thanks LJ for keeping the Tasker integration!
However it appears to be a little broken in the beta. it still says subreddit on the label instead of community and won't save the name of a community when attempting to add the action in tasker.
On the main tasker actions screen it just shows
???
Instead of the normal config details you should see. It does not throw an error when running the action in the question mark state.
Hopefully once you get out of beta there can be some cool new tasker actions or profiles like the ability to auto backup your settings or change sync settings based on tasker profiles.
For those who haven't used the tasker feature it lets you automatically "sync" posts to your phone offline with the choices of what community, how many pages and whether or not to get comments as well. for example: every morning before you get on the subway at 7am or while you are still on your home wifi to save mobile data
Edit: Spelling formatting.
Would there be a form or a submission process to getting certain domains included? I guess opening a GitHub issue for each one?
Trying to get
To work
From my research in GitHub and issues there is a PostView database stored and attached to your user but there is no way to clear that data. There is also a mark as read functionality for lemmy the platform. I want to undo or clear that data
How do you undo mark as read, viewed status or clear the view history?
Also does deleting your account clear this table?
Didn't even read the article
Host a lemmy instance and post it on there
Hopefully it doesn't take too long. LJ is awesome 😎
Check out sync for lemmy. Just started but used to support that feature when it was on reddit
