I remember watching this when it was on. Interesting concept and the execution wasn't bad. Would have watched season 2 to see how it progressed.
The Eye of the Bedlam Bride Audible Pre-Order Is Live!
Check out this great listen on Audible.com. A pantheon of forgotten gods. An old grudge between a talk show host, an heiress, and the man they shattered along the way. A rapidly deteriorating AI system. An inconvenient tiara upon the head of a friend. It is bedlam on the eighth floor. As managemen.....
Pre-order is live for Book 6, The Eye of the Bedlam Bride. Releases on September 1st!
Great watch, love to hear him talk about all of those roles and the people he worked with.

Oh Captain My Captain!
A sad day but happy for him.
I have never, and WILL never, respect anyone who uses Comic Sans. Do you want me to think you wrote something in crayon??
I recently saw a bio submitted for a board position that was done in Comic Sans, instant no vote from me. Do you not even know about Arial or Calibri? I mean, if you want to get crazy I'd even accept Times New Roman or Bookman if you think you can pull it off.
Come on people...

I listened to the audiobook and thought it was pretty good.
Funny that you mention Buehlman, and I agree about Between Two Fires, because when I read the title of this post the first book that came to mind was one of his others, The Lesser Dead. Absolutely lived up to all the recommendations I saw for it.
Time to roll the dice!
Same. Heavy cream crew.

A quick one today, it's actually been a long time since I've had time to shave properly. Some variation of this has been my go to for the past 10 years or so, although sometimes the brush changes.
- Brush: WCS Tortoiseshell - Pure Badger
- Razor: Kai Captain Excelia
- Blade: Feather AC Professional Super
- Lather: Tabac
Fingers crossed, good luck!
I watched this on a whim when I happened to see it listed on Amazon. Was pleasantly surprised.
spoiler
James Marsden was really good playing a version of himself. The only thing that really blew my mind is that Ronald didn't recognize Kirk Fox.
edit: marked potential spoiler?
Currently reading Dead Sea by Tim Curran. About 25% through and enjoying it so far.

More like mildly terrifying. No thanks monkey flowers.
You know, I'm not sure. For a few years I was using MiTo XDA Canvas keycaps and I liked them a lot, however, I am really liking the profile of these OSA keycaps. I think I'd like to try out some MT3's once I get bored with these.
It definitely does. Weighs just over five pounds too. Previously I was using a 60% with a separate number pad. Really I just wanted something new to play around with because....well, keyboards! I do like using the full size again though, it had been about 10 years since I'd used one, took a little getting used to.

For me it's Kramer, I can't hear this song without thinking of this montage.
I think Faun may have been my favorite in that collection.
What is Everyone Reading?
I'm working my way through Dead Sea by Tim Curran, maybe 25% in. So far I like it but there are times when I feel like it's dragging a bit.
Also listening to the audiobook for Let Me In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Almost finished and have been really enjoying it.
Me too! I try to take a picture of some of the better ones I run into. Some that come to mind are a fully sealed individual size bag of chips that only had air in it, and an individually wrapped protein cookie that had two cookies jammed in it. Life evens out.
