What's Everyone Smoking This Weekend?

Hello fellow enthusiasts! I was just sitting back, lighting up one of my go-to sticks and got to wondering, what's everyone else enjoying this weekend?

What’s a splurge meal you like to make?

  • Ramen is one of my favorites but I’ve never had the patience to make a good batch. Any recipes you recommend?

  • Honestly agree. Probably the first and only time I’ll ever have it.

    Do you meal plan?

  • I try to grocery shop once a week and pickup whatever looks good or fresh that I can use in a variety of meals throughout the week. My goal is to buy a small amount of higher quality things that I can use in 2-3 meals.

    Lately though I’ve just been going to the store when I want to make something and it’s much more stressful that way. I need to get back into doing more planning.

    What’s a splurge meal you like to make?

    Anything expensive, unhealthy or a combination of both. Just recently I cooked an overly rich steak dinner of filet mingon topped with foie gras and a variety of sides. Eaten on the couch, of course, because I’m truly a glutton. !

    What are the best cooking hacks you've learned over the years?

  • Generally I completely agree, but I do have an embarrassingly large number of deli containers in various sizes. Great for leftovers or drinking water.

  • For the first post, I'll tell you what I'm having. I've been big on RYO smokes lately, so I've rolled a OHM menthol king size with zig-zag papers. The flavor is much more mild than, say, a Newport, but it's still immensely enjoyable, and it burns so much slower. I'm still new to RYOs but I'm having a good time with the possibilities. Of course, I've also started smoking a lot more since it's fun to make your own. Oh well 🤷

    What's everyone playing right now?

  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Super hard. Super fun. If you weren’t sure about trying it, highly recommend.

    Also really looking forward to Jagged Alliance 3. Fingers crossed for an actually good sequel.

  • Maybe someone who knows more about this can answer, but are these sorts of issues that Boeing has been having with new delivers usual? Seems like a new thing for someone who has just started paying attention.
