No contradiction there. They said the court overturned a right to privacy (based on the ruling of a very specific issue), then the next person said the war on drugs did it. Are those two stances the same thing to you?
Fair, but to say this is what did it is a bit dramatic. Ideally, the court shouldn't be deciding these issues anyway and legislators should actually be doing their job.
