    got a little weeper rapira blades are decent but not my favorite. was one i threw in my travel razor, blade going in the bin.

  • the really old ones have serial numbers on the handle. think they stopped doing that in the 1930s. nice razor, if you like it i would keep shaving with it.

    i would venture a guess yours is a later model from in or around 70s. thats when they used that etched top cap.

    edit: the simple green working great! 10 minutes and razors coming out like brand new! it was always annoying to me how hard it was to get into all the nooks and crannies, pretty much just accepted the fact that there would always be dried soap or whatever in there, this makes it easy.

  • if anyone has tried an ultrasonic to clean razors what solution did you use? wasn't sure what to put in mine, figured water and couple drops of dish soap couldn't hurt. it got it cleaner but missed some spots. was cleaning a blackbird and it didnt get all the stuff in the grooves of the handle.
