It's probably a bug, I didn't scan the QR code, I clicked on the link which opened the 2FA app and created the entry, not that it matters but that's how I did it...

I scanned the QR code the second time and that worked

The old system was even weirder, I had to use Libreoffice built-in QR code generator to set up 2FA, I created my second account after this latest update ( glad they added the QR code for me this time ), but yeah it didn't work, so the account is lost until the next major update which will disable 2FA for everyone..

But I didn't wait, I created another account and it worked 🤷‍♂️

Not me, my friend uses UT ( not as a daily driver ), the experience - in my opinion - is like using an Android from 2013, I didn't like the UI, the web browsing experience because it's laggy, and the lack of native apps, maybe with the feature release we might see a redesign

I saw people using Linux phones just because they wanna cut off their phone addiction, less apps, less notifications... Etc

Yes, that's exactly what I mean, as far as I know UT lacks it, I didnt look much into PmOS because my pixel isn't well supported, but that's great to hear

I'm very optimistic about Linux mobile OS ( specifically Posh and Ubuntu Touch ), I think in a couple of years it will be " ready to use "

for now my main issue with them is security, since they don't support encryption yet

But I can do that on Element, I'm not asking to send a 1gb file, but 8mb file size is just worthless, my phone camera takes 12mb images and I had to use a file shrinking app to send those images..

Anyway, not going to use it ever again, I hate when services force you to use their apps and not 3rd party apps
