I mean, California just voted to KEEP prison labor slavery so....
It just means they don't want to expend the little effort it takes to do pattern scanning looking for cheaters.
Easy way to catch shooter cheaters: they move faster, they aim faster, they fire faster, they look at an enemy through a wall for x amount of seconds while one or both are moving, they don't touch the ground for long long periods of time etc.
Update, I have made GDM unusable (not just broken styling), progress!
I appreciate the help, I did use dconf editor but I haven't manually cleared these out and updated dconf I'll try this out, worst case GDM is still busted.
I honestly just wish there was some really good GDM docs I could find to make it easy to reset it to default.
Like how I used GDM-Settings on Pop_OS without knowing GDM-Settings is for OLD gdm, and now I have to use LightDM because I can't find the config files that are broken in GDM that cause it to have no styling and be black font with trails anytime something moves?
(and yes I have reinstalled it, gnome-shell, pop-theme, etc even with forcing dpkg to re-write over config files. I've manually gone through and deleted config files and reinstalled to redownload them, I cannot get GDM back to even default GDM let alone the pop version.)
I just wish someone was making half decent 3rd party hardware to use with Clone Hero thats NOT over $60.
Heres a programming (merge sort?) trick applied to troubleshooting GPOs: turn off half the policies in the GP, did the issue go away? if yes its in the turned off half, if no, turn off another half of the active policies, repeat
LightDM, Pop_OS and Monitor Timeout
I used GDM Settings and broke GDM, every normal fix doesn't work to restore GDMs first login screen back to normal (all colors are black except background and icon, trails when items move).
I switched to LightDM and its working perfectly EXCEPT my monitor doesn't sleep when LightDM lockscreen is up.
I'm newer to Linux so I don't know how the Monitor sleeping system works, or what the hierarchy is, or configuring it.
I know that Pop_OS and dconf editor can both edit the Monitor timeout time, but that doesn't seem to affect LightDM, any suggestions? (I'd rather work on this than GDM because I've spent hours on GDMs theme being busted)
And whats great is my Brother printer provides Linux drivers, ever since I switched off of HP Printers things have been great!
Tell that to the college anti-war protestors getting beat by police for literally using their first amendment right to protest and speak, and NOT blocking movement to classes at all.
Worst thing is you may have to learn downgrade commands on PopOS if a game breaks with driver updates.
Crossing my fingers and hoping it doesn't shit the bed, it did so well with the Control-like atmosphere.
I don't see Elden Ring devs complaining, maybe focus on gameplay and style more than graphics and MTX and hollywood actors?
Sounds like a job for a rasberry pi with pihole installed: https://pi-hole.net/
"I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizens’ Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.” Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection" - MLK
The Island of Dr. Moreau’ (1996)
The 96 version though?
Foot terminal has Sixel support and thats the only support ZelliJ has as pass through IIRC, I couldn't get ZelliJ to work with anything else.
And the Yazi doc page says it uses Sixel on Foot terminal: https://yazi-rs.github.io/docs/image-preview/
I had it working for a couple minutes then it broke, it seems its cache related, if its broke just run this:
rm -rf ~/.cache/zellij
zellij ka
Foot terminal emulator + ZelliJ + Yazi
I've been trying to get image previews working in something this week, inside ZelliJ and wasn't able to find anything until a post in a Linux community about Foot.
Foot terminal emulator + ZelliJ + Yazi gives me what I wanted.
Now if only TTY supported SIXEL...
Anyone have running public print servers?
Well if you do, you better go catch them !(update your Linux cups due to CVE vuln)
