How Long To Nap
  • This makes me excited to get my machine. I did a home test last week and stopped breathing an average of 35 times per hour over seven hours of sleep. Doctor wouldn’t tell me if it was bad or not just that it was well over the line to get a machine. Hoping to have one in the next week or two. I’ve been tired constantly for as long as I can remember, at least the past decade. Really hoping to have similar results as you have experienced.

  • Right to repair in the US
  • I tried reviewing the FAQ before I asked. The wording on their map key could be a lot more clear imo. I was wondering if it might be rejected but it says introduced. If rejected I would think that would be meaningfully different. I was hoping they expanded on the categories on the website somewhere but couldn’t find it. I’m guessing they are so close to the content it seems more intuitive to them in comparison to an outsider.

Maybe the context is because it’s in relation to all the red states are current bills in motion?

  • I never heard of a mushroom or fungus tire but Goodyear has been working on a tire made from old recycled tires and moss. I think most manufacturers have recycled and or sustainable products but they still cost more than the base level tire most people end up buying. I have heard some manufacturers are looking at using organic rubber from tree and dandelion farms.

  • I'm in this picture, and I don't like it.
  • I’m with you. A common example is the weekly meeting I chair. I can have everything we are going over on my left monitor. Center monitor has my meeting notes that I type up discussion points to complete after the meeting. Right monitor has slack up which is useful if I need to ping someone for input on something if they couldn’t be on the meeting or another resource. Even if I don’t get a response right away I typically have one by the time I’m finishing up the meeting notes. My mind works better having a separate physical monitor to break up my space. I have a 42” wide screen and 24” monitor for my personal computer and I want to downgrade the larger one. The 42” is too big for me, I enjoy snapping windows around with the arrow keys and changing virtual desktops feels too abrupt to avoid interrupting my mental processing. I think folks all process things a little bit different and I’m just happy I’ve found something that works for me and others have options that work for them.

  • Door Update
  • Thanks for sharing the story and progress. It looks really good. Did you consider routing the edges? I’m not sure if I would have a preference one way over the other, was just curious.

  • Son keeps declaring he loves me and giving me hugs
  • I did the same and you’re doing great. As he gets older he will challenge you. Never withhold love, even if he’s wrong or makes a mistake. One day he’s going to screw up and know it. When he instinctively comes to you for a hug and reassurance that you love him, no matter what, even if he’s in trouble. That feeling just can’t be beat.

  • Dental Savings Plan vs. Insurance: Which Could Save Me More Cash?
  • I’m going to have to change dentist. Their pretty far away but I have a lot of dental anxiety so I’m nervous about switching. They have recently stopped accepting insurance though and don’t participate in dental savings plans. Their cost are fairly reasonable but between the drive and no longer accepting coverage I just can’t justify it anymore. I wonder how common it is for dentists to pull away from insurance.
