    Today I finished my first plushie (pretty much completely new to sewing) from my own custom pattern. This is Fin Fin, an obscure 90s virtual pet, and my best friend.

    First Attempt at Papercut Patterns Estella Top + Skirt

    I made this as a gift. This was my first attempt at making this pattern and my first Papercut Pattern outfit. It turned out well! I would consider myself an advanced beginner. The directions included were relatively easy to follow.

    The only thing I changed is adding an additional 7 cm in length and about 3 cm in width to the skirt ruffle. When I first sewed the ruffle on with the original pattern, it didn't have enough ruffles for my taste.

    It was a great challenge for someone at my skill level. I felt I really leveled up with this pattern. I would definitely make this again!
