The way he was brought in from the minors was far from ideal. I think the exposure in this league and having Raanta as someone to help foster good strategy and habits will help him grow very quickly. He still seems a little more reckless than most other goalies but that will get better the longer he plays.

They got sent not just M1 Abrams tanks but the M1A2 SEP (think of adding a pretty extreme luxury package to your favorite car). It’s an important distinction because many items go from mechanical to touch screen for the driver, gunner, and TC. The mechanics will have some extra work to do but the operators will have a LOT of perks. Lots of get-up-and-go in those things + improved optics and interfaces all around. I operated one of these tracked beauties in the 00s. Had a fun time every time I got to drive/load/gun. It’s a solid improvement for sure.
