Going on a 5-6 hour flight. Game recommendation?
  • Slay the Spire is a deck mainstay for me. A good run is 40 minutes to an hour.

  • How do I federate this site with lemmy.ml ?
  • Well I have good news, you posted this to lemmy.ml, so you did it.

  • Are you a professional or a hobbyist? How did you get your start in programming? What type of project/s are you working on currently?
  • I'm a professional C++ developer. I started with a Visual Basic intro to programming class my freshman year of high school, took a few more of those, then went to college for computer engineering.

Now I work on embedded boiler controls.

  • Test
  • I'm here for this.

  • Hello there, Reddit community!
  • Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 980Ti (rip EVGA), 16GB DDR4.

I bought the 980 for my first VR setup back when the Vive first dropped. It's just starting to show its age, but it made it through the worst of the crypto and covid shortages so I'm happy.

Anyone keep getting contact refreshes that bump the posts as they try to browse?
  • Yep it's a known bug in all Lemmy instances right now, mobile web and desktop. If you use an app like Jerboa it doesn't happen.

  • Todd Howard thinks Elder Scrolls 6 May Be His Last Game
  • Yeah he'll be nearly 60 maybe over if it gets delayed at all. That's a career.

  • KBin has taken over Lemmy in monthly active users count
  • Agreed, Fedia.io was mostly working this morning but at some point federation just stalled.

  • KBin has taken over Lemmy in monthly active users count
  • Yep, thread based communities are shared perfectly between Lemmy and kbin. Other than currently the largest kbin community is having federation issues due to the influx of users
