any tips for playing CDDA
  • Drive it like you stole it. You’re gonna do poorly for a long time until you get your head wrapped around it, so just be curious and see if that thing DOES kill you. Then you know to avoid it. There are some good tutorials on YT that can help. Might be a bit dated, but should get you a decent start. Good luck!

  • Downtime fun in Blades in the Dark
  • I don’t have a link for it unfortunately, our GM is running it in Foundry and I think he got the module in there. Runners in the Dark I think it’s called? Its part homebrew and part Scum and Villainy/Blades mashup is kind of how he described it. It’s not perfect, but it’s still fun!

  • Really enjoying my first playthrough of Dwarf Fortress
  • Vampires are wild. I caught the one I had, and he admitted it, and also admitted he was here under a false name. He got exiled from another dwarf civilization for embezzlement. My dwarves apparently didn’t care. After he was punished, they elected him mayor. :D

  • What's the worst way you ever broke production?
  • Was troubleshooting a failed drive in a raid array on a small business DC/File Serv/Print/Everything else box. Replaced drive still showed failed. Moved to another bay thinking it was the slot not the drive. Accidentally hit yes when asked to initialize the array. Blew the whole thing away. It was an OLD server the customer was working on replacing, so I told them it finally gave up the ghost and I was taking it back to the office to keep working on it. I had been on the job for about 4 months and thought for SURE I was fired. Turns out we were already working on moving them to the cloud, so it ended up not being a big deal.

  • Wisconsin Cryptids

Hello! Thought I'd share a couple of interesting Cryptids from my native state of Wisconsin! Cryptid lore is super fascinating to me, and I love hearing about local legends and seeing them referenced in popular media.
