It will be discharged, then sold and sold and sold and eventually written off as a tax loss to some other corporation. One of the things needed to keep a debt current is talking to the creditor. These sovereign citizen idiots don't agree that the debtor is who is on the other end of the phone which is exactly what you need to do to not get the clock reset.

I mean, yes and no. One of my houses using the bare minimum water to keep the fallow land covering green was about $2k/mo. Average in the winter closer to $100/mo for barely being there. Some places are just stupidly expensive for no reason.
I have since sold that massive stupid house and went elsewhere. And I do not miss it any day of the week.
Primary residence, the door is never locked. Even when travelling out of the country, it's open. In a city of 3m+ people.
Other houses in less desirable countries have automatic locks. When the door closes, it locks. Garage door and front doors on internet control to open and verify status.
I have not used a physical key or worried about door locks for almost 20 years now.

I purchased from a sales rep for the company over WhatsApp and using Alipay because it was easy. They sell their products on Alibaba as well which would give you the sales protection and all that. I've bought about a dozen of them so far for 3 different houses. Wonderful.
What I didn't understand from their catalog until I got one, is that they are very modular. Basically they have a couple bowl designs, lots of lid module designs, and then a few tank designs. Mix and match them to get all the SKUs.
I got the extra large tanks in-wall with wall hung bowls and then the super awesome everything lids. So the final product installed is just a floating toilet, with some buttons on the wall above it. You walk up to it, the lid opens. You either sit and the seat is heated or you wave your foot and the lid opens for guy mode. When you're done in guy mode just walk away and it will flush and close and clean. In sit mode press the little knob on the side and it starts the water and then heat dry. You can also rotate the dial to get articulating wash and dry action. It comes with a remote control (why?) and an lcd on top. The soap dispenser inside creates a foam that shoots down when the lid opens. I've never been so impressed by a porcelain throne.

Yes exactly! A bidet attachment plus a cheap bowl is like half of that. So it seemed like a no brainer.

Assuming you're in the US just because the question only seems to come up there, and for our house there we imported them from Asia for less than $1k to the doorstep. Adding a power outlet is usually easy as most washrooms in the US have an outlet somewhere.

Many countries decide to incentivize smaller stores and punish chain stores. We call this socialism. The US decides to punish small stores with rules that make no sense for a 200sqft store while giving away billions in tax cuts, sorry "incentives", to big stores.
Instead of taking less from those you want to succeed, the US takes more from the individual to give to the big store.
This is an important distinction because big box stores in places that aren't the USA actually have a disadvantage. And their prices are not much lower if at all, relying solely on economies of scale. You can then choose to shop in one which if we're honest has convenience. Open 24 hours a day, get 7 items that have no logistical correlation, get a brand name item that the local store doesn't have, etc. And you don't feel like you're exploiting people at the same time.
I now do almost all of my day to day shopping in small shops. The rest, bigger purchases or weird items, are big online people or online scooter delivery from a mom and pop store but over an app that takes a 5% cut, so I put it in the same category.

Fun fact, but the IRS can take away your right to travel by not issuing a passport as well as cancelling a passport if you owe debts. They really like to do this if you owe tax debt.
They also like to cancel your passport while you're abroad if your debt stacks up. When your passport is cancelled, any visas in the passport are also cancelled. Meaning of you're living in India, Thailand, Panama, Mexico, whatever on a US passport and they cancel it, you'll have to leave your new country immediately. As someone with no legitimate travel documents you will be deported to your country (US) immediately, you can't go anywhere else. This is a fun tactic the US government likes to use instead of extradition.
Everyone should make sure to have more than 1 passport and ideally for countries that do not cooperate fully.
Many telecom operators have a special code that is used for recording. When you're making a call, you or the other party may press the record button. This will save both the input via microphone and the output via the speakers as one audio file for future use. When you press this button a special code is sent back to the telecom.
Until recently most places in the USA did not do anything with this code. But now it's catching up to the rest of the world. Once this is pressed, a voice will tell both parties that they are being recorded in the recording. This is so that you can't later say "I didn't know they were recording me!" and if you have every-party consent laws, then that recording is illegal so it cannot be used as evidence and the person recording could actually be charged with a crime.
You can start the recording with an accidental face press, pocket press, keypad entry, or a malicious app. If either of you accidentally started it, then there's your answer. If neither of you did, then most likely one of you is infected or one of you were connected to a relay tower decrypting your calls and then passing them through to a real tower. Whoever was operating this relay station was a n00b idiot though. Both are concerning.
