There's been some pretty high visibility sex crimes from those identifying as trans. Also grooming kids to be just like their cool nonbinary teacher. All sorts of saying the quiet part out loud on tiktok. It's fine to be trans, but if you "come for the children" there will be consequences.
I believe that those who are not being held in custody should have their rights guaranteed by the Constitution. If they're such a danger then put them in jail for the crime. If there's no crime then you shouldn't take their rights. Voting rights which are denied in many states and gun rights which are currently denied by all. They should be restored when someone is no longer held in prison/parole.

You seem incapable of separating scientific claims from moral ones. Scientific claims are based on immutable measurements and observations. Morals come from historical events, instincts, rulers, and other such things. These are not the same thing. Do you believe women must cover themselves in public? That is a moral rule observed by some and not others. Do you believe in self defense killing? How about capital punishment? The world is full of different views each claiming to be the right one. Do you believe your morals to be the only correct ones? I'm sure you have opinions that others would find distasteful.

It's not just a problem with the teachers. The whole system is rotten. Many kids go unsupported and fail due to it. Some may try to join the gangs and think school is worthless, some may have need for extra effort which isn't their from parents or teachers. It's unfortunate in such a huge beast like the NYC public school system, just like many others.

Finally got my Hunter 23 out again
I'd been lazy about it because I need to launch from a boat ramp every time. This was my second time out. First time with the jib up. She sailed just fine. Great day for it. Got back at 5:30 and finally ready to get gone at 8. It's kind of stupid how much time it can take to get everything back together for trailering. I need more than one day off a week for this.
Anonymous Mod actions
I speak my mind here and sometimes it causes some friction. Having been banned a few times for various dumb reasons what really annoys me is there's no notice of it, and many will just hide behind a generic "mod" label for banning and deleting. Is there a reason there's no attribution required for these actions?
Finally starting my ASA 101 course
After buying a Hunter 23 last year fall, then finally getting it out at a local reservoir I figured I needed to get all my ducks in a row. Currently learning in a 4 person group on a J/24.
