LMAO okay, yes reading and writing are two separate skills. You got me there.
You never intended to speak to me in honest. I see that now. I'm cutting out.
Good question. I can't answer that. I probably should've been nicer.
Yes, I was cruel. No, I don't think I was an ass. I think I was constructive. Why do you think differently?
Yeah, that's fair. What did I say which was incorrect, though?
That's very fair! And you aren't entirely wrong. I'll try to learn something from this, but I think the best way to learn is by challenging.
Let me dumb this down for you: You just wrote an entire short story about about how you cannot focus enough to read a story.
Yes, I do think you're a lazy fuck. I think you do, too. Goodbye.
Cool, then I guess you'll just do nothing until you die, and blame everybody but yourself.
You are capable of making stupid comments on lemmy. You are also capable of reading a book. Stop making excuses for yourself and be better.
Edit: Oh right. I'm on the adhd channel. The kings/queens of doing absolutely nothing, bitching about it, then getting mad when things get worse, have spoken.
So I guess I was wrong. Somehow.
You.... still can't name a VPN which was broken. What an exploit.
I'm sure it affected many: can you name one?
I think I understand your points. And I mostly agree.
I genuinely don’t care about symbolic actions. I worry that corporations will heel turn the moment it is no longer safe or profitable to pander to the queers.
Yes, 100%. I'm terrified that public opinion will turn, and I am certain that corporations will desert us LONG before then. I'm happy that it is, currently, safe and profitable to pander to queers. It makes me feel safe, in a way it maybe shouldn't. I know that the other shoe could drop at any time.
I'm really sorry that was your pride parade experience. Yeah, things along those lines are all too common. Most pride parades are..... still..... in 2024..... very, very bad. And, yes, I don't think corporations are helping in any way.
I agree that I want solidarity. it's the only way forward.......
Unpopular opinion, I know, but I fucking love corporate pride.
Do you remember being gay a decade ago? Corporations were just starting to touch us with a ten foot pole. And it felt amazing to be acknowledged as existing, without any negative connotations.
Two decades ago? No one would touch us, unless we were the butt of a joke. That we'd hear a million times everyday.
I see corporate pride as a sign of change: sure, those billionaires are just trying to get more money out of us. They couldn't give a shit about you, or me, personally. But they're now willing to openly market to us.
That means public opinion is changing. Support for the queer community is growing. We've even become a market to be advertised to.
No, those rainbow ads don't mean anything more than the green and red ones in December, or the red hearts in February. But the fact that corporations are openly showing support, without fear of death threats, or "more importantly" losing money, means something to me.
Yeah, whatever settings the washer and drier came from the factory with seem to be doing me just fine.
I am seriously that dumb. Can you give me an example of someone who used it and was affected by this?
Yeah, none of those are affecting me right now. I don't think they're affecting you, either.
Isn't it weird that you, also, can't name a single person who was affected by this?
Yeah, but you didn't bother to actually follow the link or read what it says. There was a bug in Microsoft's VPN implementation (which no one uses) which affected no one, until they fixed it.
You didn't answer me, so I'll give you another chance. You must've missed my question last time. Which VPN were you using which stopped working after a windows update?
I hope you weren't just lying to my face.
No, you're just making shit up and saying it as if it were fact.
