What's a perfect trilogy, Video Game, Movies, books, whatever.
  • Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations aka the Ezio trilogy. I remember playing it when I was quite young and the parkour elements blew my mind. Ezio was a very charismatic character and these games were imo the best Assassin's Creed games, before Ubisoft went to shit and started churning them out every other year.

  • What's the longest line you've ever waited in?
  • Waited around 5 hours for a photo on the iron throne from Game of Thrones. This was between seasons 6 and 7 so before the show was completely assassinated. I called my sister from a town 90 miles away and she got a train over straight away, took over 2 hours but I was still in line by the time she showed up lol. Looking back it was definitely not worth it but I have a cool pic of me dabbing on the throne so it's something at least.

  • The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion
  • I'm plying through an ancient game from my childhood, Disciples II: Rise of the Elves. Never got to play the Elves expansion so I'm having a lot of fun seeing something so familiar yet different. Nice bonus of it running on the steam deck, not super well but it's workable.

  • FOSS Firefox Dark Theme Extension?

I've tried using firefox's built in dark theme but it doesn't quite do enough. I'm looking for a dark reader that'll invert most websites' white background and dark text. I was wondering what privacy friendly dark readers people here would recommend, as some that I've seen have reports of harvesting user data and sending to third party servers. If not an extension, what would be the best way of achieving my desired effect?

What's the coolest place your job has taken you?
  • I worked on a construction site next to a large nature reserve with several manmade lakes which used to be an old quarry. There were 2 eurasian kingfishers that made a nest in the side of a small cliff under a bunch of overhanging roots. I got to see them perched on nearby bushes over the water, hunting for fish and protecting their nest. Kingfishers are one of my favourite birds now, and I think this kind of experience really cemented my love of nature. I remember everyone being told off about stopping on the walkway to take pictures but I did not care in the slightest, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get some nice photos and enjoy these elusive birds.
